Video: Sunday August 28th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the Institute of Bermuda Architects appointed Tika Gilbert as their new President, students of the 2022 STEAM Academy Programme built an impressive Popsicle Bridge, Chelsea Basden, Saraé Botelho, and Naysaa Tucker earned Hospitals Auxiliary of Bermuda scholarships, and Eva Frazzoni signed for Hashtag FC in England, were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Sincere Hall scored for the Hull City Under-21 team as they played to a 5-0 victory over Watford, Owen Rosorea won a silver medal in Massachusetts, Bermuda women’s team won a bronze medal in CAZOVA, Robin Horsfield finished second at Ontario Cup Cross Country Mountain Bike race, and Nathan Trott has joined the Danish football team Vejle on a season-long loan.
Other good news stories included the Bermuda Zoological Society [BZS] awarding the BZS Steinhoff Scholarships to Osei Agyapong, Imogen Peckett, Logan Soares, and Naphisa Smith, Town & Country website praises Bermuda, and Djair Parfitt-Williams scored on his debut for a Finnish team.
