Video: Sunday Sept 11th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Scott Barnes claimed two titles at the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix, Bermuda Hospitals Board awarded $100,000 in scholarships to eight students, Ne-Jai Tucker scored in a Burnley FC U21 victory, and Larrissa Simmons, Jada Davis, and Amelia Othman earned ABIC Memorial Awards were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Rotary youth learned about the importance of mangroves, the Bermuda U17 football team defeated the Bahamas 4 – 0 and Bonaire 2 – 0 in the 2022 Concacaf Qualifiers, and Nahki Wells scored twice in Bristol City’s 3-2 win away to Blackburn Rovers in Sky Bet Championship action.
