October 24, 2022

Evolution Healing Centre is thanking the public for the response to its stroke rehabilitation survey, with a stroke education event planned for October 28.

A spokesperson said, “Thank you for all the responses to our stroke rehabilitation survey which ended in September. The main aim of the survey was to collect data regarding stroke survivor’s experiences of rehabilitation in Bermuda. We plan to use this data to help us inform what is happening through the stroke pathway and put forth any recommendations that would be useful for survivor’s and the community.

“Also as a reminder World Stroke Day is approaching and we plan to complete an education event regarding stroke and present more of our data results. We invite you to visit us to celebrate your milestones, share your stories and connect with one another. We are pleased to host an education event on Friday 28th October. The event will be held Par-La-Ville Park’s queen street entrance and run from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.

“On hand to help will be senior physiotherapists Kim Watkins and Sandro Fubler from Evolution Healing Centre, along with occupational therapist Jill Davidson, senior speech and language pathologist Kimberly McIvor, and a senior dietician from island nutrition to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to meeting you.
