News that Nia Christopher and Leilanni Nesbeth continue to rack up goals for their college teams, Jahzuena Bradshaw-Douglas and Courtney Butcher earned the 2022 Bermuda is Love scholarships, and Sabrina Burgess placed fifth in her professional debut were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Casey Truran won classes at the Zone 5 Horse Show, Kaden Hopkins joined the Vendee U team in France, the Bermuda Cricket Board hosted their 2022 awards ceremony, and Elijah Daley competed in the Hall of Fame Invitational.
Other good news stories included Keke Palmer thanking Shiona Turini after hosting the Wearable Art Gala, the WindReach Adult Day Programme is improving seniors’ lives, Bacardi is cutting 140 tons of plastic in packaging, Mid Ocean Club achieved the IIP Gold Standard, and golfers partnered with Keep Bermuda Beautiful to clean up and give back to west end communities.
