Bermuda Is Love To Hold Healthcare Discussion
Bermuda Is Love will be holding a Panel Discussion on the Right to Healthcare in Bermuda this Wednesday [February 21] at Bermuda College, Lecture Hall G301 at 6:00pm.
A spokesperson said, “Panelists will include the Hon. Kim Wilson, Minister of Health, Myrian Dill, Nurse Practitioner at the Bermuda Hospitals Board, Preston Swan, Chief Operations Officer of the Bermuda Hospitals Board, and Peter Lozier, Global Head of Health at Argus Insurance.
“Please join us as we discuss the barriers to access healthcare services in Bermuda, including the cost of healthcare, lack of insurance, poverty, poor education, low income, unemployment, discrimination, and inequality; and further discuss how we can reduce healthcare costs for all by each of us becoming more healthy citizens and taking greater responsibility for our own health.
“Attendance is free. Please come to learn and ask questions about Bermuda’s healthcare system. Bermuda Is Love believes everyone has the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health.”
