News that Yushae DeSilva-Andrade qualified for the Paralympic Games in Paris, Shiona Turini earned the Diamonds Do Good’s ‘Diamond Influence Award,’ firefighters raised $750 for PALS, and the Botanist café launched in the Botanical Gardens were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, PwC Bermuda renewed its support for the Endeavour programme, Nathan Trott was named to the 3F Super League Team, Cameron Jeffers helped lead Marshfield CC to a 160-run victory over Swindon CC Wilts, Muay Thai fighter Tyler Kerr earned a stoppage win in Thailand, Bermuda’s rugby team defeated the Bahamas, and Bermudian reggae artist Sir Dudley releasing his new album ‘Resilience.’
