Video: Sunday Feb 2nd “Good News” Spotlight
News that the Bermuda Under-17 national football team won multiple games, Jamai Gomes was named the Government’s 2024 Employee of the Year, and mother and daughter Sarah and Alys Webber both graduated from Keele University on the same day were some of the positive stories from the past week.
In additional good news, runner Ryan Outerbridge delivered a dominant performance in the 1-mile run at the USM Husky Invitational, Claire Harness donated to Friends of Hospice, and Taylor White won three races at a swim meet.
Other good news stories included Bermuda College celebrating the success of two cohorts of students completing the Foundation in Generative AI course, Marsh McLennan supporting the Hamilton SDA Church’s feeding program, and harness racing thriving on community support.
