Ball Hockey: Spine & Sport & BDA Spirits Win

The PCC Hockey Rink hosted another doubleheader of Bermuda ball hockey winter league action, delivering a night of high-scoring games.

 Hamilton Princess 2 – Spine & Sport 8

In the opening game, Spine & Sport defeated Hamilton Princess 8-2.

Hamilton Princess took an early lead in the first period, with James Vansickle finding the net. However, Spine & Sport responded strongly, scoring three goals in quick succession through Jeremy Estey, Ross Rufiage, and Ryan Marshall to take a 3-1 lead.

Spine & Sport extended their lead in the second period, with Marshall and Rufiage both scoring their second goals of the game to make it 5-1.

The third period saw Spine & Sport add further goals through Graham Pitman and Marshall, who completed his hat-trick. Hamilton Princess managed a consolation goal from Kevin Albrecht, but Spine & Sport secured a comfortable 8-2 victory.

Positive Image Dental 3 0  BDA Spirits 6

The second game of the night saw BDA Spirits defeat Positive Image Dental 6-3. The first period saw a single goal, with Nathan Kowalski scoring for Positive Image Dental to give them a 1-0 lead.

The second period was more action-packed, with a total of five goals scored. Jeremie Faucher equalized for Positive Image Dental, making it 1-1. However, BDA Spirits then scored three consecutive goals to take a 4-1 lead, with Jean-Michael Tremblay, Stefan Chamberland, and Anddrew Bonner all finding the net.

Positive Image Dental opened the scoring in the third period through Thomas Miller, but Tremblay scored two more goals in the period to complete his hat-trick and secure a 6-3 victory for BDA Spirits.
