Police: “Kite Poses A Threat To Air Traffic”
[Updated] The police are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating the person flying a kite in the St David’s/Clearwater area, as the “kite poses a threat to air traffic as it is being flown in the no fly zone surrounding” the airport.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. this evening police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating the person flying a kite in the St David’s/Clearwater area.
“The kite poses a threat to air traffic as it is being flown in the no fly zone surrounding the L.F. Wade International Airport. Officers have been dispatched to try and locate the person flying that kite.
“If you know who they are, please advise that they take it down.’
Update 6.38pm: BPS: ‘The kite has been located and taken down.’

Uh, was it really too much for the police to follow the string and take the kite down and destroy it themselves?
What? Are you suggesting that the police actually do their jobs?
The Police probably don’t interfere with an individual’s property – unless it is a matter of ‘life or death’ …………
