Ball Hockey: Presidents & Long Island Ducks Win
A double-header in the Bermuda inline ball hockey league produced 18 goals as the Hyannisport Presidents and Long Island Ducks secured wins at the PCC Hockey Rink.
Hyannisport Presidents 4, Charlestown Chiefs 3
The Presidents secured the win in an opening game where all seven goals were scored in an unusual first period. Alex Larouche netted two goals for the Presidents, with Kris Abramowski and Mark Heintzman adding single tallies. Scoring for the Chiefs were Marcel Bouwens, Shawn Mckee, and Pete Brodsky.
Long Island Ducks 7, Broome County Blades 4
In the nightcap, the Long Island Ducks defeated the Broome County Blades. The Ducks were powered by two goals apiece from Jake Fenske, Max Boivin, and Hart Freedman. Bill Calko also scored for the victors. The Blades’ offense was led by Richard Campbell with two goals, while Ryan Wilson and Matt Mcphail each scored once.
