Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Paget Collision
Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Paget on Thursday morning [Dec 4] that left a 44-year-old motorcyclist in critical condition.
A police spokesperson said, “Inquiries continue after a collision involving a motorcycle and a car Thursday morning.
“The two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:30am Thursday, 4th December 2025, along South Road in Paget, in the vicinity of the Bermuda College.
“Reportedly, the car was travelling in the eastbound lane of South Road when the driver, understood to be a 30-year-old Sandys parish woman, attempted to overtake a motorcyclist in front of her, near College Road.
“That motorcyclist was not involved in this incident.
“However, seemingly at the same time, a second motorcyclist, understood to be a 44-year-old Warwick man, attempted to overtake the car and the two vehicles made contact.
“Apparently, on impact the 44-year-old was ejected from the motorcycle he was riding, landing on the sidewalk of the opposite lane.
“He was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of leg and other injuries. At last check, he was said to be in a critical condition.
“Traffic diversions were in effect for approximately three hours, while the collision scene was processed.
