Video: Sunday July 12th: “Good News” Spotlight

News that the Convex End-to-End awarded $297,500 in grants to Bermuda charities and community organisations, Ajani Robinson won the Male Single Rope Individual Freestyle Grand National title in New York, and Kyle Masters was admitted as an INSOL Fellow after completing the Global Insolvency Practice Course were among the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Bermuda’s 4×100 metres relay team won the bronze medal at the Barbados Grand Prix in Bridgetown,  Appleby welcomed Chloe Brookes, Hannah Stockley, Markalah Telemaque, Jeremias Pietila, Cameron Menzies, Yasmine Tull, and three returning interns to its 2026 summer programmes, and Karen Franks, Yusef Bushara, Lara Hetzel, Ahmed-Yassine Abdellah Chentouf, Nadiyah Brown, Troy Washington, the Chewstick Foundation, Devray Denwiddie, and Zachary Wilson were awarded 2026 Bermuda Arts Council grants.
