Video: Lawrence And Williams Win Cycling Race
[Updated with full results + video] Shannon Lawrence raced to victory in this morning’s [May 26] Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race, with Zoenique Williams ranking as the top female finisher.
The race saw Lawrence finish with a time of 25:41.589, followed by Mark Hatherley at 25:44.063, Mathew Ackland at 26:12.574, Dominique Mayho at 26:13.301, and Darren Glasford at 26:14.054.

In the female class, Zoenique Williams crossed the finish line at 30:15.517, followed by Nicole Mitchell at 30:43.941, April Galda-Joyce at 31:00.925, Julia Hawley at 31:14.525, and Karen Smith at 31:14.765.
The junior male class was won by Justin Ferreira with a time of 25:47.443, followed by Shomari Steede at 26:25.212, Matthew Oliviera at 26:25.436, Christian Oatley at 26:26.901, and Kaden Hopkins at 26:30.007.
Women’s cycle winner Zoenique Williams with Sports Minister Wayne Scott
The junior female class saw Gabriella Arnold take first place with a time of 31:14.713, followed by Victoria Davis at 32:10.968, Erica Hawley at 35:48.471, and Tristan Narraway at 37:32.626.
The riders made the 11.9 mile sprint from Somerset to Hamilton, with the race ending outside of the Leopard’s Club on Cedar Avenue.

Originally called the Heritage Day Cycling Classic, the race was renamed the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race in 1998 following the passing of former champion Sinclair Packwood.
