Men Remanded After Burglary, Firearm Charges

Two men appeared in today’s [Sept 2] Supreme Court Monthly Arraignment Session where they faced charges in relation to an alleged armed burglary earlier this year.

Taariq Clarke, 23, and Umdae Woolridge, 24, pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary, the illegal possession of a firearm and the illegal discharge of a firearm. The charges stem from an alleged incident/robbery in Hamilton Parish on 14th March 2014.

Both men will remain in custody and will re-appear on 1st October.
