Photos: Tokio Millennium Re Cycling Criterium

The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Tokio Millennium Re Criterium took place at Southside this past weekend, and a sprint finish was the order of the day in several divisions.

Shannon Lawrence took the line honors in the Adult A Division clocking a time of 44:22.1, Anthony Bartley finished second with a time of 44:22.8 and Tyler Smith finished third clocking time of 44:22.9.

Sarah Bonnett was able to hold off the challenge of Wenda Roberts in the Women’s Division, Bonnett crossed the line in a time of 25:39.9, while Roberts clocked 25:40.3, Karen Smith finished third with a time of 25:42.3.

An even closer finish was recorded in the Adult B Division as Andrew Soares clocked 34:05.954 to record the win, while Kaden Hopkins was clocked across the line in a time of 34:05.974 and Manual Lonfat finished in third with a time of 34:06.023.

Ricky Smith clocked a time of 31:00.7 on his way to winning the Adult C Division, while Garth Fleming finished second with a time of 31:00.9 and Terry Thomas finished third clocking 31:05.8.

Nicholas Pilgrim rode to victory in the Junior A Division with a time of 27:58.6, Micah Cook finished second with a time of 28:06.1 and Alex Bordage finished third with a time of 28:07.8.

The Junior B Division was won by Ziani Burgesson who clocked a time of 14:24.0, Alex Southern finished second with a time of 15:12.9 and Nazari Fox was third with a time of 16:50.0.

Ross Cooper clocked a winning time of 9:27.8 in the Junior C Division, while Blake Oliviera finished second clocking 9:32.1 and Liam Flannary finished third with a time of 9:47.6.
