Photos: Ward Wins World Par 3 Championship

Chris Ward held his nerve to hole a six foot putt for birdie to pocket the $10,000 prize and claim the 2017 Grey Goose World Par 3 Championship Title at the Fairmont Southampton’s Turtle Hill Golf Course.

Ward coming to the final hole was at 4-under alongside Jimmy Lytle who was already in the club house, but he stuck his tee shot giving himself a chance, that he was able to put away.

Lytle was second one stroke back after his second round 4-under par and Oliver Tubb finished third at 3-under par.

Tariqah Walikraam won the Ladies Amateur Division after her second round of 2-over par 54, Tracey Burgess finished 20 strokes back in second after her round of 8-over par 62 and Alia Hamza finished in third after shooting 17-over par 75.

Craig Christensen shot a even par 54 to win the Senior Men’s Division, Donovan Livingston finished in second 11 strokes back and Gary Car finished in third after he shot a second round of 3-over par 57.
