Does this mean our ball hockey team can receive a grant similar to our national cricket team? Don’t they deserve a trip to Dubai as well?
No way…this team is mostly made up of Canadians resident in Bermuda…..It is not a Bermudian Team in any way^^
It’s a team of men who are very proud to wear the Bermudian flag on their jerseys and listen to the anthem after every win.
no, that’s what happened to cricket, they got a grant now they are doing nothing
Let’s face it if it isn’t cracker or football this country don’t care. Why not cut funding to our gang haven oops sorry I mean sports clubs and put money into other areas ie sunshine league. I am bermudian and spent many a night at admiralty house playing with these guys. This sport is a ton of fun and the guys playing for our country wether bdians or not are dominating other countries. No one from gov. Will be waiting for them when they bring home the gold.
