The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, believed to be the first time this particular model of plane has landed in Bermuda, is still in the ground at this time, with online flight data indicating it is scheduled to head to Fort Lauderdale, Florida later this evening.

  4. BIG-Troy says:

Best get that foreign illness off of our island. Lord knows we have more than enough of that already!!

  5. What protocol is in place to determine symptoms not of epidemic nature, this is the reality of travel now,You know there are animals that detect illness, there are machines that detect various. Illness….in air travel air filters should be changed frequently to health standards considered acceptable to the microbal responsible levels in consideration of air quality, how many people who have contributed to that microbal pool at filtration point it is at this point all breath contributes to a possible mutation not unlike leagonairs desease….is there a time period for filter change or quantative people amount…are we filtering air with UV light yet…at some point a UV light tunnel should be set up at quarenteen…and at travel gates to and from.

  6. The Skink says:

I wish I could see the Dreamliner in person.

  11. Triangle Drifter says:

Beautiful aircraft. Seen it doing touch & goes at the Boeing Field S of Seattle before certification & under assembly at the Everett plant. Amazing sight!

  12. somuchless says:

Should get Norwegian to fly here full time

    • Triangle Drifter says:

Why would they want to do that?

      • somuchless says:

Because ba needs completion and Norwegian could do the London/Bermuda route two or three times a week which would work.

        • Triangle Drifter says:

And why would the British let the Norwegians operate a flight out out of London competing with their own national airline?

Why would the Norwegians want to do it in the first place? Whose needs come first to them? Certainly not Bermudas.

          • Nordic says:

Actually Norwegian is flying from London to several airports in US, basically there is a free market in Europe. You can’t protect your own airlines.

  13. James says:

I was working that flight. It’s a beautiful plane and I wish the pax a speedy recover.

  14. Terry says:

Departure time should be published and a 1500-2000′ fly by should be done via north shore/south shore by the crew.
What a sight that would be on a good day.
And throw some cheese out the cabin whilst at it.
