Two Men Injured In Roberts Avenue Collision
[Updated] At around 7.15pm this evening [Jan 1] there was a collision in the Friswells Hill and Roberts Avenue area, which resulted in two people being injured,and transported to hospital for medical care. Further details are limited at this time, however we will update as able.
Update 8.06pm: The police confirmed that two motorcycles that were traveling in opposite directions collided, resulting in two men being taken to KEMH where they are being treated for “unknown injuries.”

Update Jan 2, 1.32pm: A police spokesperson said, “At approximately 7:09pm on Thursday January 1st Police and first responders attended a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision that took place on Roberts Avenue in Devonshire near to the junction with Friswells Road.
“It appears that two motorcycles were travelling in opposite directions when the collided. A 47 year old Devonshire parish male and a 19 year old Pembroke parish male were taken to KEMH where they are being treated for injuries.
“At last check the 47 year old male was treated and later released while the 19 year old male is listed in stable condition on a general ward.”

People need to learn how to drive, or walk instead. When are the police going to get tough on bad and drink driving? After the last election, they promised that every officer, on duty or not, would act if he witnessed bad driving. What happened?
