Perinchief Finishes 2nd In Grand Prix In NY
Jah-Nhai Perinchief finished second in the men’s triple jump at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix at the Ocean Breeze Track in Staten Island, New York.
Competing in an elite field of jumpers, Perinchief had a top leap of 16.55m, finishing behind the United States Olympic trials runner up in 2021 Donald Scott who leaped 16.68m.
Perinchief had a foul on his first attempt, before leaping 15.62 on his second attempt, a leap of 16.22m was reached on the third attempt before the 16.55 leap came on the fourth attempt, and Perinchief would then leap 16.06m on his fifth attempt, before closing out with a leap of 15.99m.
