Six Youth Sailors To Compete In Brazil
Six young sailors — Nina Gotfredsen, Rory Savage, Dylan Menzies, Oliver Soares, Aiden Mahoney, and Trystan Hocking — will compete in the 2022 Optimist South American Championships in Brazil.
SailBrasil.com reports, “tarting next Saturday (8th) the Clube do Rio de Janeiro will host one of the biggest competitions of the continent, which will count with 165 sailors from Argentina, Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela. Brazil will have the largest delegation in the South American Championship, with 40 sailors between 12 and 15 years old.”
