Video: Sunday July 28th “Good News” Spotlight
News that the Olympic Opening Ceremony took place, Jamar Dill has achieved his ILM Level 3 certificate, Appleby Bermuda has awarded $95,000 in scholarships and bursaries to Max Blakeney, Tange Bean, Tiffany Cooper, Malcolm Hendrickson, and Za’Khari Turner, Aircare team members, Aaron Chase, Corey Davies and Jason DeMello, earned ILM certificates and WindReach received a $25,000 donation from the Aurum Kaleidoscope Foundation were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news Kacy Milan-Butterfield has signed a new deal with Basford United Football Club, footballer Knory Scott has signed for Isthmian League South East Division side Eastbourne Town, and Somerset secured victory at the Department of Sport and Recreation’s annual Mini Cup Match.
Other good news stories included the New York Times featuring Bermudian fashion expert Shiona Turini, the Ministry of Health announcing the 2024 Dr. Barbara Ball Public Health Scholarship recipients, five schools receiving the internationally recognized Green Flag award,
