Teachers Rugby To Raise Money For WRC
Teachers Rugby Football Club [TRFC] members will raise funds for the Women’s Resource Centre [WRC] by running the Bermuda Half-Marathon Derby next Friday [May 23].
“Only ten days to go until our TRFC crew hits the pavement for an epic cause – this year, we’re running to raise funds for the amazing Women’s Resource Centre!” read a TRFC social media post.
TRFC have raised more than $115,000 for local charities over the years.
“Thanks to our incredible runners, supporters, and you! Let’s keep that tradition strong,” the post added.
“The WRC does vital work supporting women and building a stronger Bermuda.
“Let’s run with purpose and show the island what TRFC is all about!”
To take part in the TRFC fundraising effort, participants can run the full race, join a relay team, or jog the final two miles with the team.
