Canada Win Ball Hockey Masters Title
Canada defeated Canada Saskatchewan 2-1 in a tense final of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation Men’s Masters World Championships at the Pembroke Community Centre hockey rink on Saturday [November 15].
Portugal beat the United States 4-2 in the bronze medal game; Bermuda beat Italy 6-2 in the fifth-place match; and Great Britain triumphed over Haiti 4-3 in the seventh-place game.
Canada defeated the US 5-2 in the semi-finals, while Canada Saskatchewan beat Portugal 5-0.
