Positive Image Dental leads the Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League standings as the league enters its mid-season hiatus at the PCC Hockey Rink. The team has 19 points, a four-point advantage over second-place Hamilton Princess. ACT currently occupies third place with 12 points.
Inclement weather previously resulted in several league postponements, but the completion of recent matches established the current table positions.
Louis Sujir of Positive Image Dental leads the individual points category with 28. Shane Matchett [ACT] and Mathew Benson [Hamilton Princess] follow in a tie for second with 20 points each.
The goalscoring leaders are Sujir and JM Tremblay [Hamilton Princess], who have both recorded 13 goals. Dallas Montgomery [CG] is in third place with 12 goals.
Sujir also holds the league lead in assists with 15. Matchett follows with 12, while Jeremy Estey [CG] and Christopher Merritt [Spine & Sport] are tied for third with 11 assists.
In goaltending statistics, Yves Paul [Hamilton Princess] leads the league with a 3.75 goals-against average. Chris Thilbault [BDA Spirits] ranks second with a 4.00 average, followed by J. Riggnas [ACT] at 4.17.
League play is scheduled to resume in January.
