Video: Sunday May 13th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
Flora Duffy winning a gold medal in Japan, Shaquille Dill winning the CIAA Runner of Year Award, Bermuda celebrating inspiring women in ICT, Foster Parents being recognized at an Appreciation Tea, and Amir Dill & Majesty Wilson being selected to represent Bermuda at the Football for Friendship youth programme were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Leilanni Nesbeth scored four times in a Bede’s victory, businesses supported Ace It Foundation efforts, Inshanae Smith won gold at the Invitational Track Meet, BILTIR provided maths tutoring at CedarBridge Academy, Fresh Breath Dental provided free service to those in need, 9-year-old golfer Oliver Betschart advanced inUS Tournament, and Dage Minors recorded his 21st career NE10 title.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Bermuda Open Cricket, Argo Group Gold Cup sailing action, Foster Parents appreciation tea and the Santo Cristo Dos Milagres Festival.
