Video: Sunday Sept 10th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the Bermuda Heroes Weekend marked its “best year”, Daniel Augustus won the OGA Moonlight event, Bermudian sailor Emily Nagel joined team AkzoNobel to take part in the Volvo Ocean Race, and the Department of Corrections was crowned “Kings of the Grill” at the Inter-Service BBQ Challenge were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, the First Church Of God continued its food initiative, Bermuda High School announced its GCSE/IGCSE exam results, the 2017 Knowledge Quest-HSBC scholarships were distributed, the Devil’s Hole Family held a Back to School event, Dr. Carika Weldon is getting set to present at ThinkFest, and ‘The Wondering Dreamer’ highlights Bermuda.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the “Back to School Extravaganza”, the PHC Zebras winning the Charity Cup, the BBA Winners Edge Criterium, the Sand Castle Competition, Bermuda’s Labour Day March, the Labour Day 5K Race, BIU’s 2017 Labour Day Banquet, and the top 10 Bernews “Photo of the Day”.
