Ball Hockey Worlds: Bermuda Defeat Cayman
Bermuda has advanced in the 2022 ISBHF International Street & Ball Hockey World Championships in Quebec after recording a 3-2 victory over the Cayman Islands, marking their fourth win of the tournament.
The team leads their group, as they have already defeated Hong Kong, France and Pakistan, with their sole loss thus far a 4-3 defeat by Lebanon.
Bermuda took the lead in the 13th minute when Jeremy Estey scored, and Estey then scored his second goal of the game in the 16th minute. Cayman Islands would pull a goal back in the 41st minute and equalized in the 44th minute, and the match was decided by a shoot-out, with Andrew Bonner scoring the winning goal for Bermuda.
