NHC Monitoring 5 Systems In Atlantic Ocean
While Bermudians are keeping a close eye on Hurricane Fiona – which is expected to impact us starting later today [Sept 22] – officials at the National Hurricane Center are monitoring five different disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean.
NOAA tweeted the animation below and said, “Tropical activity has really picked up in the Atlantic this week. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Geostationary Satellite Server [NOAA GOES-16] is currently monitoring five systems: Hurricane Fiona and Tropical Storm Gaston, as well as three tropical waves.”
