Video: Sunday March 12th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Patrina O’Connor-Paynter won the Woman of the Year award, AFP’s Bermuda chapter announced that the Chamberlain Scholarship Award winner is Truell Landy, Cody Rego won the ASPCA Maclay class at Florida’s Winter Equestrian Festival, and Rhode Island FC appointed Khano Smith as their head coach and General Manager were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Bermuda defeated Aruba in a tennis, Somers Smith won the Suzuki Caribbean Award, Jackson Langley won in Florida, Kaden Hopkins helped Vendee U win in France, Danté Leverock will be helping develop the next generation of men’s and women’s footballing talent on the island as part of his DaRock Elite Performance Academy, Factory BDA celebrated their grand opening, Ramaya Edwards signed with Henderson Agency, and the Kiwanis Club honoured Sloan and Royce Wakefield.
