Video: Sunday August 27th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the Royal Bermuda Regiment’s Recruiting & Career Management team – Stg. Damir Armstrong, Lance Corporal Zjah-Quana Bean, and Private Nikolas Roach – earned the PSEA award, the BPSU presented 12 recipients with awards, and the Chubb Charitable Foundation Bermuda awarded scholarships to Kiara Burcher and Destani Warner were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, athlete Sakari Famous is beginning to make a name for herself as an artist, the Bermuda U14 football team advanced after a win, Zeiko Lewis scored in a Sacramento victory, and Chare Smith and Uphill Castle advanced to the knockout final.
Other good news stories included Zuri Harrison, Jonathan Jervis, and Zamauri Hardtman receiving legal education awards from Marshall Diel & Myers, as well as Logan Soares, Angelino Madeiros, Daque Davis, and Nasir Rudolph receiving $12,000 in awards from the Bermuda Maritime Scholarship.
