News that Hamilton Princess donated to the Family Centre, BEN announced the finalists for the 2024 BEN Teaching Awards and Shiona Turini won the Costume Designers Guild [CDG] Award for Excellence were some of the positive stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Footballer Rahzir Smith-Jones was named as Binfield’s Player of the Month for January, Phoenix Heat defeated the Lady Colts in netball, pedestrian crosswalk lights arrived in Bermuda, Howes broke records while anchoring Western, Bermuda swimmers helped Baylor win the TISCA, Basden won his 400m heat at the Camel City Sprint, and Appleby defeated Spine & Sport in ball hockey.
