Police Investigate Second Firearm Report Tonight
[Updated] Shortly after a shooting which left a 26-year-old man dead in the North Shore/Bandroom Lane area tonight [Apr.17], there was a report of another firearm incident in the vicinity of the Southampton Rangers Club.
Bystanders said that it appeared that person[s] on a dark coloured motorbike rode into the area and fired a few shots.
The Police are presently on scene at the Club, and confirm they responded to an unconfirmed firearm report in the area of Southampton Rangers at approximately 11:55pm. Police Spokesman Dwayne Caines confirmed that no one was injured.
This is the second time in the past 30 days the island has experienced back-to-back shootings in a single evening, following the shootings on Cedar Avenue and Rambling Lane which occurred 90 minutes apart on March 25th.

Police responded to a report of an unconfirmed firearm incident that took place around 11:55pm on Sunday on Horseshoe Road in the area of Southampton Rangers Sports Club.
Police are investigating shots fired in that area. No one was injured and police are asking for anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to contact police on 295-0011 or the independent, confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
