  1. Micro says:

They were in our area last week. Told us to call if our service wasn’t restored by end of day. We call. No one answers the phones or returns our messages.

Wonder how many other people they’re losing to WOW.

    • Clear View says:

The exact same applied to me. Called and left a message during the stated working hours according to their press release.
I will surely be one going to WOW, if they do not give the appropriate discounts. Better yet after all this time without cable, I do not even fell like I need it anymore.

Thank goodness for my GoMedia TV allowing me to watch my EPL football games.

  2. Tough Love says:

    Still no mention of discounts?

  3. TSOL says:

I still don’t have cable, I.ve called all day and all I get is a recording.

  4. Runner says:

Still no mention of South Shore Rd., Devonshire between McGalls’s Hill and Devonshire Bay. Not enjoying being part of the 10 per cent.

    • kangoocar says:

@runner, I live off Mcgalls Hill and got my cable and internet this morning, hopefully you will get yours shortly, I suggest you call again as I did both Saturday and Sunday, on Sat the asked if my neighbours had it, I did not know, so I asked and nobody had it?? I called back on Sunday and told them, and sure enough it was on when I came home for lunch! Thank You Cablevision

  5. mike says:

    woodbourne area please!

  6. Missing channels says:

And still no mention of the missing channels we are paying for.

    • PBanks says:

Apparently there’s also an issue with dish network and Turner that caused several channels to go away, but there’s been no correspondence from CV on this issue as far as I know.

  7. jsmith says:

I’ve called and directed to vmail a dozen times.
    Most days this was full.
Today I reached a person – my vmails hadn’t even been logged for action.
She seemed surprised I had a problem.
It’s been two weeks… and many calls.
    Still no ETA for repair.
I appreciate the system is overwhelmed. But to not even be on the queue for two weeks, to have a mailbox that is capacity restrained, not listened to, with no return calls being made… for that there is no excuse.
I would hope they prorate the bills accordingly.

    • dangel says:

All customers would have to call the accounts department to ensure that a credit is posted to your account for the specified period you were without internet. You cannot assume that Cablevision will automatically pro-rate bills accordingly. At this point in time I suggest everyone wait until power has been fully restored across the island, before bombarding Cablevision with calls for credits. They will process credits as I have been the recipient on a few occasions – A satisfied customer in spite of the fact that I have not had internet at home since October 12th.

  8. Colonel says:

I have been calling for a week now with no cable or internet service.
1st agent – “i will put a note on your file”
Me – ” What will that do?”
1st agent – “So that when you call again, they will know you reported it already.”

2nd agent – “We are working in your area today and you should have it back by this evening.”
That was on Wednesday 22nd, to date I have not seen one CV crew working in the Harrington Hundreds, Knapton Hill area. Those numbers quoted can only be fabrication to try to appease the public. I hope the outages are reflected in the bills when issued.

  9. PURPLE says:

‘g’ box available at Unlimited Supplies. All the TV I want to watch. Been cutting back on my cable, not impressed with cable anymore. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

  10. JUNK YARD DOG says:

As BELCo and CV attempt to do the impossible we must realize
that they employ people just like you, who may not have.

Have we become so addictive to cable and the internet ?

    “Tolerance is a virtue” !

  11. flikel says:

Does anyone in Ord Road, Paget have cable or internet?

  12. Prayerful says:

What is ‘G” box and how does it work, please can someone tell me.

  13. Silence Do Good says:

Television babysits my grand babies. Now the little buggers have to go outside and play. I told them to read a book and they looked at me strange and went back to poking their screens.

  14. Put CHANNELS BACK ON!! says:

Bermuda Cablevision please put back on Tru TV on channel 16, as Esquire Network is already on 114. Also put back on Boomerang and Cartoon Network as we are paying for channels you are not providing.
