Mark Anderson winning the VIP Sunshine Award, news that both the Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Dawn cruise ships will return to the island in 2016, Dage Minors winning the 800m at the Dartmouth Relays, the Devonshire Parish Council and Southampton Rangers awarding scholarships and the island’s young sailors getting a boost courtesy of a $50,000 donation from Bermuda CableVision were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In addition, the students of Dalton E. There are also over 1,000 new photos online this week offering a glimpse of a variety of community events across the island, including motocross racing, the BSSF All-Star east vs west school football games, the Fairmont To Fairmont road race, a “snow day” at Little Learners Preschool, the Tokio youth mountain biking races, Alchemy Fitness Challenge training, the George Duckett Memorial rugby match, the Bermuda Marathon Weekend races and the City of Hamilton’s 200th anniversary celebration.
