Sunday February 28th: “Good News” Spotlight

News that Bermudian Shiona Turini served as a presenter at a panel at the White House, Rosewood Tucker’s Point was awarded the 2016 Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award, Horseshoe Bay Beach was named as one of the top 25 beaches in the world by Trip Advisor, and the Conyers Dill & Pearman Staff Benevolent Fund donated $29,000 to 12 local charities were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In other good news, Nahki Wells scored against MK Dons and was hailed as a “lethal goalscorer,” Alun Thomas, lead underwriter at Amlin Bermuda, has signed up for the Marathon des Sables for charity, Bernews is giving away free tickets to the upcoming Bermuda Easter Fiesta reggae concert, and CedarBridge Academy congratulated 18 S2 students who sat the IGCSE Cambridge Examination.
