Video: Sunday June 25th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Bermuda’s Special Olympians won multiple medals in Germany, Rudy Brianna Puhekker received the Eunice Sharpe Memorial Award, Taj Donville-Outerbridge won awards in the UK, and the Gas-o-Rama event raised $20,000 for local charities were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Bermuda swimmers won a total of 50 medals, Marcus Scotland led his Newport Cricket Club Wales teammates to victory, Dage Minors won the 1500m race in Massachusetts, an historic win by female sailors in One-Two Race, Ignite Bermuda launched Co-lab and Digital Studio, Harrington Sound earned the ‘Eco School’ honour, and Daniel Augustus was featured in a USGA commercial.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Seven Seas cruise ship visits, seven people graduating from Bacardi‘s Shake Your Future program, the Edward Cross Comet Race, and the Portuguese Holy Spirit Festival.
