News that the Bermuda Hospitals Board awarded $191,000 in scholarships to 14 students in healthcare fields, Mya Gibbons was called to the Bermuda Bar, and Clinical Manager of Pathways Camily Lovell was named the Substance Abuse Professional of the Year were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, KPMG in Bermuda achieved the Gold level of the BMHF’s Mindful Employer Certification [MEC] programme, the Mirrors Programme announced the winners of its 9th Annual Student Art and Digital Competition, thirteen students from Family Centre’s Youth Leadership Academy graduated as the programme’s 9th cohort, and Juliana Montarsolo and Nadia Gibson earned placements at UWC Costa Rica and UWC Maastricht. We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Fall in Love with St. George’s.
