Sunday October 2nd: “Good News” Spotlight

News that the Azura Boutique Hotel and Residences started construction, Bermudian striker Nahki Wells scored in a Huddersfield Town win, and Harper’s Bazaar featured “Bermudian rising star” Lily Lightbourn were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

Other good news stories included the 250 people to visit Bermuda for a girls football tournament, the Green family donating $4,000 for the restoration of the Deliverance, and Trey Simons being named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Male Runner of Week.

In additional good news, AlumiGlas expanded its operations with new facility, HSBC Bermuda will invest $3 million in the Harbourview Centre and Compass Point properties, and Dr. Ty-Ron Douglas will release a new book titled ‘Border Crossing Brothas’.
