Video: Sunday Dec 5th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Dale Eve was named Man of the Match after recording three penalty saves for Spennymoor Town, WindReach donated inclusive books to the island’s schools, the Garden Club of Bermuda donated $10,000 to the Friends of the Bermuda Railway Trail, and Kaden Hopkins won Bermuda’s first medal at the Junior Pan American Games in Colombia were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Madelyn Moore won her third Swimmer of the Week award, Ayleal Dill scored in a Newark Football Club win, Reggie Lambe and Willie Clemons both scored for Stowmarket, and the the International Day of People with Disabilities motorcade was held.
Other good news stories included a school award honouring Eunice Veronica Sharpe, Nia Christopher being named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team, and the Hamilton Princess kicking off the festive season by serving up a holiday dinner for the Salvation Army.
