Video: Sunday June 5th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Randolph Horton, Cindy Swan, and Cecille Snaith-Simmons have all been recognized in the annual Queen’s Birthday Honours List, BELCO announced the winners of the annual Kite Safety Poster Campaign, with 5-year-old Lyric Davis-Marshall, 5-year-old Cait Kirwan and 6-year-old Messiah Baker all earning prizes, and Sakari Famous broke a record for the third time this season and was named Sports Person of the Week were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Amari Ebbin scored a century in a South Wales victory, footballer Kole Hall signed with Chester FC, Patrick Nisbett finished second in the Grand Prix Class in Belgium, and Sandys Rotary Club donated $15,000 to the Bermuda Sloop Foundation.
