News that Nathan Wilson and Maia Bento-Fray were crowned Mr. and Miss CedarBridge, Aria Divine won the All-Around National Champion Gymnastics title in the UK, Shi-Vaughn Lee of Dove & Butterfly had the most individual sales during Cyber Monday, and DigiRoo was honoured at the Fast Company 2022 Innovation By Design Awards were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Sam Williamson continued to break swim records, Yushae DeSilva-Andrade won in Brazil, Asia-Leigh Hollis advanced to the Florida State Final, Francis Patton students created a Gombey Reindeer tree at Grotto Bay Hotel and Matthew Elliott won three championship matches.
Other good news stories included Kassie Caines and Jayde Gibbons participating in the Amazon Prime Exhibit “Riches: The Crown We Never Take Off,” Carnival in Bermuda is set to be held in June 2023, Green Family Scholarships are available at Saltus, Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre’s mammography services earned re-accreditation, Bermudian recording artist Charm released a new single, and the College Foundation celebrated the Evolution of BII.
