Video: Sunday Dec 18th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Myeisha Sharrieff won three medals in Florida, Warwick Academy swimmers won medals at the Holiday Invite in Charlotte, the 12 Days of Christmas were held at St. David’s Primary, and the Government’s Employee Wellness Committee earned the PSEA award were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Ayleal Dill signed with AFC Mansfield, Elan Daley won more medals at a Canadian event, members of Bermuda Police Service’s D Watch donated blood, Kaelyn Kastle released a music video for her song ‘Under The Christmas Lights, Rockal Evans helped win the J/70 Championships, and Angela DeSilva earned her hockey coach certificate.
Other good news stories included Ariel Re donating almost $100,000 to charities in 2022, Bermudian actor Nicholas Christopher joining the cast of Sweeney Todd on Broadway, BUEI board members matching donations, three Bermuda police officers rewarding “good driving habits,” and Pawsitively Purrfect donating $3,530 to SPCA.
