Video: Sunday March 20th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Francis Patton Primary School Principal Todd Fox earned the Public Service Excellence Award [PSEA], Madelyn Moore won two gold medals, one bronze medal and set an NIC record at the National Invitational Championships in the U.S, and Catalina donated to the Transformational Living Centre were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Abigail Brewer helped Queens win OUA Championship, Caitlyn Bobb, Sakari Famous, and Jah-Nhai Perinchief appear on the NACAC Indoor Ranking list for 2022, Oliver Betschart placed second in Texas, Taylor Carrick was undefeated as Western Ontario win, James Stout and partner won the US Racquets doubles title and the Bermuda karting team claimed honours in New Orleans.
Other good news stories included Amaris Munya & Jordan Smith winning the Conyers essay contest, Nancy Anne Miller featured in the Jamaica Sunday Observer, Garden Club supporting St George’s Foundation, Aliana King featured in another international marketing campaign, Cody Rego winning the WEF Class in Florida, and Devwah Whaley being drafted by Houston Gamblers.
