Sunday May 3rd: “Good News” Spotlight

News that the Softbank Team Japan has entered the America’s Cup, the success of Sandys Secondary Middle School aquaculture program and thousands of locals hitting the streets to raise money for charity during the End-to-End walk were some of the positive news stories this past week.

Other good news stories included the “Selfie Yourself to Bermuda” contest launched by Gosling’s and the Bermuda Tourism Authority, the BELCO Mechanical Maintenance Group donating $1,000 to Impact Mentoring Academy, the Bermuda’s U10 and U11 rugby teams successful trip to the UK, and the Inclusion Champion Award being given to Barbara Bufkin.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including photos of the Alma College alumnae reunion, RMS road race, CedarBridge Academy Tech Week, Little Learners Preschool Sports Day, Tokio Re Cycling criterium, Hamilton Princess renovations, Miss Bermuda contestants, West Pembroke Primary’s archery program, the National Junior Athlete Sponsorship Awards, the End-to-End walk and more.
