Video: Sunday June 26th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Kamila Simons received the Eunice Veronica Sharpe Memorial Award, Dage Minors raced to victory in the 800 meters in Massachusetts, the Scaur Hill Charity Soup Tasting Party raised funds for the Phenomenal People charity, Whitney Institute Middle School students engaged in a range of activities designed to promote mental health awareness and Aspen employees planted red mangrove trees on Trunk Island were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Reece Jones Jr. and Rahzir Smith-Jones signed contracts with Hartley Wintney FC, Leilanni Nesbeth and Nia Christopher combined to score in Coppermine United Women’s Soccer Team win, Bermuda claimed multiple wins at the 2022 ISBHF International Street & Ball Hockey Federation Men’s World Championships, Sebastian Kempe and Nicole Stovell won the ILCA6 Class in UK and Bermuda students won awards at Albert College.
