Video: Sunday March 21st ‘Good News’ Spotlight
While the past week has not been the greatest overall — with stricter regulations announced due to an increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases — there was still plenty of positive news, including the Oxford English Dictionary adding Bermudian words, model Aliana King being featured in a campaign by Skims, Va Va Entertainment donating $2,500 to P.A.L.S. and the Hamilton Princess donating $2,000 to the National Museum of Bermuda.
In additional good news, staff and students from Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy recently visited Cabinet to commemorate Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Month, students and staff at St George’s Preparatory School celebrated 100 days of school, Rory Wilson and Rick Richardson each received $5,000 to assist with their film projects, Endeavour held a Women on the Water clinic, and a signature song has been dedicated to the Mirrors Programme by Bermudian artist, teacher, and songwriter Patricia O’Connor.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of St George’s Preparatory School marking its 100th day of school and Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy students visiting Cabinet.
